A SHARK TOOTH FAIRY TALE was inspired by teen author Erica Morgan's childhood memories of collecting shark teeth near Calvert Cliffs, Maryland. There are a few allusions to local scenery in the book, including a map of the East Coast and the outline of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
